For film scanning, our customers keep saying "Please keep it simple." So we have. We now offer just three standard scan rates: 2400 dpi and 4,000 dpi for film and 600 dpi for photos. If you've got other requirements, please visit our Pro Services page.

Pricing - Standard film & slide scanning For any colour or monochrome negative or reversal (slide) film up to 6 x 9cm. Yes, we scan 35mm and APS in-cartridge too.

Please note our surcharges for 120-based medium format and large format film. We provide high resolution TIF files on CD, DVD or the portable media of your choice. See samples. Prices per image ex-GST.

Selective negative scanning - Sorry, we've discontinued this service. If you have specific frames you want scanned, just give us the negative strip and to avoid misunderstandings, we'll scan all the frames to make sure you get the images you need.

Film Formats: Our dedicated film scanners use film holders to hold your film flat and secure while scanning. We handle all film formats including 35mm, 126, 127, 110, APS, 8mm, 16mm, medium format 120/220/620 film (6x4.5, 6x6, 6x7, 6x9cm) and large format 4x5" (10.2 x 12.7 cm), 10x8" and their derivatives.

A note on APS film cartridges: We have two Nikon Coolscan 5000ED dedicated film scanners equipped with APS film cartridge feeders. Your APS cartridges will be returned intact after scanning. Sorry, we only scan whole APS reels.

Use of digital ICE ROC and GEM: Our Nikon Coolscan 9000ED dedicated film scanners are equipped with the ICE4 Advanced blemish and dust removal feature. In our opinion, this version of ICE (the last ever made by Nikon and the only version to work 100%) is far superior to any other dust and blemish removal tool. We use ICE4 for all our colour film scanning by default. Regrettably, ICE does not work on monochrome film. See our Help Pages for more information.
